Alright I'm a little late but didn't want y'all to feel-- well, BAd in anyway!

I guess I am... I was born and raised in Texas, and now I live in NW Arkansas where we fancy our necks are a might closer to "pink" than the rest of the Arkies .....

I would also liek to stae for the record that the first real concert I ever attended was when I was 14, and it was HANK WILLIAMS, JR! (yeeehaaaw!)

There's good things and bad things about my husband.

I can be as ******* as I want (raised in VA, so I've managed to learn northern and southern ways instead of just one way) but if I ever mutter something in a southern drawl he'd drop dead on the spot.

He once told me when we were dating that if I'd had a southern accent he never would have been with me at all. Made me a bit...standoffish...but it's him who's missing out on the ******* fun! I'm the girl riding ATV's and running around in the woods and mud with my brother and his guy friends...so I'd say I've got a bit of ******* in me wooooohoooo.

I don't get to MDC much anymore since I work ridiculous hours. I think it's great that there are so many different tribes here these days-never thought I'd see a ******* tribe here!

So if I spend my weekends with Bubba and Cooter at truck and tractor pulls does that count me in? :LOL

Seriously, I don't know anyone named Bubba or Cooter but my husband and I own a diesel performance shop so I really do spend a lot of time at these events. Every weekend and occasionally week nights. I know far more about trucks than I'd ever hoped to, yuk it up with Wrangler clad guys, listen to country music, live in Kansas and -get this!-have a farmer's tan. I tried to resist the country music all my life but, well, I think it's in my genes...

The really cool part of this is that the new friends I've made being in this business are the most honest, caring, hard working, trustworthy, decent people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Long live the ********.

so cool to find this thread....count me in...

And I am a NASCAR fan. After rolling my eyes at my friend's house for years (her husband is a huge fan), I sat down with him and asked questions. Now I can't get enough.
