Are there any midwives in San Joaquin County who would be willing to chat with me? I am having a dilemma figuring out what to do about my up-coming birth and the docs in the area being quite unwilling to bend on vbac.

Hi there,

I'm not a midwife, but wanted to let you know I have a good friend who lives in Mountain House who had a homebirth VBAC with midwife Beah Haber (office in Danville, lives in livermore) 925.449.7666. Mason Cornelius www.novamidwifery.com (she's in Dublin) may also do VBACs out your way too... Both midwives come highly recommended

Try contacting the Birth Alliance of Central CA too. They'll know the scoop both of docs & hospitals and local mw's.
