I was wondering if anyone had any breastmilk they would like to donate to a mother who has a newborn that she is unable to breastfeed. Feel free to PM me if you have any leads. Thanks!!

I have about 20 oz frozen that I can't use for DS because I pumped it before starting an elimination diet. It's not much, but she can have it. I'm in North Jersey.

Thanks for the link! I hope she does too. She is so afraid to take the baby out because she isn't getting immunities from bm.

Try Milkshare, I did that with my DS for almost 8 months. A lot of moms ship if they aren't local. As long as she isn't taking the baby directly around sick people, she should be fine - I'm assuming you mean going out for milk...?

I PMed you. I am not comfortable sharing her info on this thread, but as far as I am concerned her reason is as legit as they come.

Thank you, she is looking into Milkshare. She is willing to drive to get the milk. She is uncomfortable just taking the child out in social situations. Her 2 previous ones were bfed and she has no experience with a ff child. She is so worried about the baby having no immunities. I suggested to wear the baby in a sling and make sure her immediate family keep their hands very clean and to not let anyone touch the baby.
