I am a new Mom of a 2.5 wk old and was wondering if anyone walks the Suwanee Greenway? I am a little hesitant to walk it by myself and would love to meet some other Moms in my area. I live in Duluth and am open to any of the local parks/trails.

I don't walk the Suwanee Greenway (although I would love to) but occasionally I walk the trail at Shorty Howell park. I have 5 children so I like to do that by myself but my kids like to do it with me. Well, they'd rather walk without me but I compromise by letting them walk ahead of me.
It's pretty fun to feed the ducks too.

I've walked it before - but wouldn't say I do it on a regular basis. I should though! LOL I'm close to Shorty Howell as well, and can walk that trail there too.

The Suwanee Greenway is long - over 5 miles in total if you start at the southernmost end and go all the way up to G. Pierce park. Nicely shaded and boardwalk most of the way till the Pierce park at the end. My BOB can make it all the way, or if you wear the baby you are of course fine.

I'm not back in Atlanta (I live in Duluth) until mid-July, but would be up for walking. My son is 3.5 and dd is 18 months.

ETA: the southernmost end is off Buford Highway, north of Sugarloaf - maybe even just north of McGinnis Ferry? I forget exactly - across from that bike shop. The northern bit as I mentioned ends at George Pierce Park.
