I only ask becasuse I had heard that a powder puff is born to every litter, to keep the rest of the litter warm, and wanted to know if that was true.....<br><br>
figured I could ask here, and someone would know...

Ha! No, that's hilarious but definitely not true. No puppies of any breed are fluffy; everybody depends on mom (and a heating pad or heat lamp) to stay warm. Many good breeders do plan on having a mixture of hairless and PP in each litter, but that's because if you breed hairless to hairless you start to get even worse dentition than you normally have in Cresteds (the hairless have very odd teeth that fall out easily and early; it is thought that keeping the powderpuffs involved helps that to a certain extent, though I don't know if there's any scientific support for it).
