My son just turned 3 and he doesn't talk AT ALL. He has his own little jargon-speak but he only says "let's go" and "uh-oh" otherwise. He has never even said mama! He has had MANY evaluations for autism, including MRIs and developmental teams but no one can tell us why he isn't talking yet. He is smart as a whip and he sees a SLP twice a week to work on confidence building, he has trouble blowing bubbles and doesn't even make many animal sounds because it's very difficult for him to make his mouth make the sounds we want him to imitate.

I would love to hear stories about kids who were totally non-verbal at 3 who went on to talk like champions, or to hear from other parents with non-verbal older toddlers.
