My DS was born at 41+3 wks and DD was born at 42 wks (my dates were pretty much spot on since I was TTC with both...my babies just bake longer I 'spose).
I'm 36 wks with DS2 and though I'm I go into labor around 39 or 40 weeks I'm preparing to still be in for a slightly longer haul.
Anyone else?
Did I mention that DD was huge (9lbs 12oz) and this one seems to be headed the same way and I'm sooooo uncomfortable?

I'm a long gestator. My dates were pretty solid, with early u/s confirming dates for #2 & #3. Mine were born at 41w5d, 41w3d & 42w2d. None were gigantic: 8lb 1oz, 7lb 10oz, & 8lb even. My placentas have all been really healthy and didn't look old at all.

I'm not planning on this one being born until at least 10 days after my due date. He/she better not come early b/c dh & I will be on opposite sides of the world until a week before my due date!

My first was only 7lbs 9oz.
My placentas were healthy as well. I'd feel comfortable going to 43 or 44 weeks before being medically induced (although around 40 wks I do try natural induction methods, ie; nipple stimulation, sex, EPO).
I hope your LO waits for daddy to come home before making an appearance.

I typically go a bit early (39 weeks, DD2 surprised us at 38 weeks) but with my last two being 10 lb and then 9 lb 9 oz (38 weeks), I'm hoping this bub doesn't stay put for the long haul.

my DD2 was born at 40+6, so I'm half expecting to go over this time too, but I've been having intense cramping/BH's this week so IDK, maybe I'll actually go early??? Or just be tortured the next 3.5-4 weeks

DD was induced at 39 weeks due to the cord being wrapped around her. Both of my boys were late. DS1 was induced at 42 weeks and DS2 came at 41 weeks.. I am due 6/15 so I am guessing I will be baking for awhile longer. I'm not in any rush at the moment.

My twins were early, but my last DS was born at 40 +5. I wouldn't be surprised if this baby stayed put past my due date, but I've been praying for him to come just a few days to a week early only because my DD has a big dance recital five days after my due date!

dd1 41w2d
dd2 40w6d
dd3 41w6d
This is our first boy, so we shall see if he surprises us! Assuming all is healthy, I'd be thrilled to go earlier, especially if it mean a bit smaller babe. :p
