I'm just wondering if I'm alone on this board
I have a son who turned 4 May 27, a daughter who is 2 1/2, and a daughter who turned 1 May 16. Any other crazy moms in the house? :LOL

I read the thread about having two, and thought "yeah!!" but then I realized I might be the only one dealing with a third variable

I'll just add that we wanted them all....we didn't really *plan* for them, but we were up for it
(or so I thought :LOL )

So...anyone?

I have 3, but the girls aren't little little. DD#1 is 7 DD#2 is 6 and DS is 15months. After the girls it took a long time before we decided to go for a third. It's difficult juggling 3 different ages. A year makes such a big difference in terms of their developmental needs. Then you add their personalities into the mix. I love them, caos and all. :LOL
We have 3 too. A 4 year old, a 21 mo old, and a 6 week old. It is a challenge, but also a great adventure

Hey, I'm not alone after all!

So....anyone lose track of at least one child every ten minutes?? The other day I found my one year old on the step ladder the other two use to reach the sink. She had climbed up there and found the soap bar chunk......and ate it
....ARG!!!! I was afraid to call poison control because I've already called them in the last few months (houseplant)
so I just hoped for the best...and read the ingredients. It was glycerine based, after all :LOL .

So in the meantime, what were the other two doing? Who knows!?! If only I had three eyes, too

It's funny....had ds1 eaten the soap...I probably would have ended up in the ER!!!

But now....ds2 could eat just about anything and I would stay calm!

:LOL My 21 month old has ended up naked and in the back yard at least 2 times in the past week.

You're amazing! I have 5, but my older ones are...well...older and a great deal of help. They are 13, 10, 6, 23 months, and 2 month. I can't imagine you've got a single hair left on your head, haha. Of course I imagine, since you went on to have a 6th, that whenever you hear "you've got your hands full" you grin and say "yep, I wouldn't have it any other way." I'm always in awe of women who have multiple small children.

A 4 y/o, a 2 y/o, and a 6 month old here.

Ha! Today we were all in the car ready to go out when I realised that the 2 y/o was sitting happily in her carseat buck naked.

Lucky I noticed before we drove off............ :LOL :LOL :LOL

: Well, I'm expecting my 7th now, so that stubble that had started to grow back from hair pulling experiences of early parenting is probably doomed :LOL . Yes, having older ones definatly makes a difference. When the new baby comes, they will be 13, 11, 9, 8, 6 and 3. A world of difference.

Chava....at what child do you think was the biggest adjustment? Does that make sense?

Does it get easier the more you have....or harder? I would honestly like to have 12 kids....that's why I am asking

I think it is different for different people, depending on spacing, expectations, etc. One and two were a piece of cake for me. That is not the typical experience. Then I had #3 high-needs and health issues and it was quite difficult. For me, the easiest transitions have been to 5 and 6. Go figure.
