I did my first sprint tri May 2009 and got bit by the tri bug. I did 5 sprints in 2009 <img alt="smile.gif" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.mothering.com/images/smilies/smile.gif"> 2010 brought my first Olympic distance in the spring and I just completed my first half Ironman two weeks ago. Any other swim/bike/run Mamas out there???<br>

<p>I did my first sprint tri last summer.  Unfortunately, at some point in my training, I got a stress fracture in my tibia, so was still recovering from that during the race.  I had to walk the run portion.  I am in training, now, though for a olympic distance to do this summer.  It's my dream to do a half ironman someday!</p>

<p>I've done a bunch of sprints, an olympic distance xterra, and a half iron - but that was a few years ago after my first two kids but before the second two. I'm now in the process of losing the weight I gained during the second two pregnancies and getting back into racing. I have a goal of finishing an ironman someday. </p>
