I contacted the Women's Outreach Center at The University of Oklahoma with regard to the absolute lack of appropriate breastfeeding facilities on campus. I spoke with the director of the center this afternoon and we're planning to meet soon to discuss ideas for bringing this to the attention of university administrators in hope of encouraging them to consider adding sanitary, private areas for students, faculty, and staff to pump.

If any of you are students, faculty, or staff at the University of Oklahoma and are interested in being updated on the endeavor or would be willing to assist with petitions, etc., please PM me with your email address and I'll let you know what's going on after I meet with the director. We're going to need a lot of support in order to get the powers that be to recognize that this is an important issue deserving of their attention!

Thanks in advance!

Awesome! PM me your email address and I'll keep you posted as to what's going on?

It doesn't matter if you're a mom or not, or whether or not you're a current student. The more people who will get involved in this, the better chance we stand of getting university administration to take notice!
