I usually write YA sci fi/fantasy, but haven't had much time since dd was born. I decided to revisit a genre--the short story--that I haven't written since college. I'm still working/revising, but I would love to swap/critique with other short story writers. I haven't written anything "real" in a long time (mostly just reams of notes for the novel I PLAN on writing when dd is in school
) and I feel really rusty. Any takers?

Have you ever checked out fanstory.com? I used to belong, but I have moved on to other writing projects now. It is a GREAT site to submit short stories for critique from other writers. The criticism is useful, not just wishy washy unhelpful stuff. You also get to critique other writers' work. There is a small monthly fee. I think it was 5.95 a month. I learned a lot when I was on fanstory.
