I didn't really see a place where this would fit, so I'm going to try here. I'm sorry if it isn't right.

I have three children, and have started back up with the winter outdoor activities. I've used a pulk, but I think I need a bigger longer pulk or a pulk train.

So, have you seen a three child pulk? Do you know how to stack to pulks behind each other like a train?

Buehller?

I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about, but I'm highly interested in getting into snowshoeing and cross-country skiing! So, I'll be watching the thread. I always wondered how I could pull this off with little-ish kids!

You can get things like this http://www.sommerbutikken.com/pulk.htm .

I have used one, and they are really not that bad! A bit stablizing even. A work out going up hills, but not too bad.

I want to see if anyone has a link for one for three children, or if they know of a good way to attach two of them one behind the other. That way I can take a few supplies, and have somewhere for the six year old to go when she poops out.

OH, I should add that you can rent them from outdoor gear shops along with the skis/snowshoes.

I'm not sure if you'll find much expertise here. The folks at the gear shops, or an outdoors board, or maybe one of the tribal areas might help? One of the Mamas on the Alaska board is a musher and might have a different take on gear?

We've been looking into kicksleds now that we have kids.

BTW, DH got me and DS1 snowshoes for Christmas so we'll be out and about even more! We introduced DS1 to ice skating 2 years ago and skis last year. This year we've already put skates on the little one, too!!

I was on my own skiis by age 3. My kids were too. Why aren't your 3 and 6 yr old on their own skiis?
They are, but the 3.5 year old has limited interest and the 6 year old has a limit on how long or much she can or will do.

A pulk is a sled.

I have a pulk and can fit my 2 in there but i don't like it, but I really can't imagine how I would fit 3. Or even if I would want to.

I haven't seen anything for 3 kids, but I suggest you e-mail the folks who make the Kindershuttle/Pulk at Wilderness Engineering and see if they know of anything.

Good Luck!
