I just found this tribe and I'm feeling pretty lonely out here as it seems no one else shares my birthing and parenting philosophies here. I'm sure they exist i just can't seem to find them. I'm a Mom to an almost 3 year old boy and I'm expecting my second baby in Nov. I'm trying for a HBAC and I'm a self described lactivist and I hope to be able to clothe diaper our baby when it is born. Almost all of the Mom's I know are pretty mainstream and I would like to meet some other people who are a little more crunchy like me. Nice to meet you all.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

Not one licence plate in the parking lot ws a Delaware one, lol. Have you lived in DE long? I've been here my whole life.

I lived here my whole life too, in fact I was born at Beebe. I think Sun. was the busiest day. I work at Michael's as a cashier so if you ever stop in say hi if you see me (I'm the one with the name tag Becky)

Good to meet you too kyndmamaof4!!! What part of western Sussex do you live? I guess this is the time of year where we all have almost no interaction between the different sides of the county. I've been trying to make it to the LLL meeting in Seaford since my Son was born 3 years ago and I never seem to be able to get there. I guess this time I'm going to have to make it no matter what because i would really like to start a meeting in the Lewes/ Rehoboth area. It seems so silly that there is only one in the whole county.

I'm in Laurel, at the other end of route 9 <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> it's only a 35-40 minute ride here to the beach. (Lewes or Rehoboth)<br><br>
I come that way all the time. I used to live there for many years, so the traffic isn't really a big deal for us <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"><br><br>
We like shopping on the Avenue in Rehoboth...Sunshine octopus is my favorite. (it's a hippie shop of course) <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
When we are gonna be down that way, I'll give ya a heads up, and maybe we can do lunch.<br><br>
I just love the Camel's Hump, haven't been there in years. I would just love a good falafel and some Turkish coffee <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

Unfortunatly The Camel's Hump closed because Marsha (one of the owners) died, its so sad, I miss Marsha and Ritchie and the resturaunt so much. Its funny, though, that you mentioned it because I worked there the year that my Husband proposed to me (and in fact he proposed to me at the resturaunt). I was so cute in my harem pants. I would have loved to have had lunch with you Ladies there but maybe we can find somewhere else and have lunch somewhere else or do a beach day.

<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/gloomy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Gloomy">: I didn't know it was closed. I am so upset! I have no idea where to find a resturant that serves middle eastern cuisine. They had THE BEST baklava.<br><br>
I guess the only falafel I'll be eating is the ones I make at home. Oh well <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/shrug.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="shrug">: I do make yummy falafel anyhow <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"> only here there just isn't the atmosphere they had there.

My friends husband owns a resturant in downtown rehoboth called Sammy Kitchen on Wilmington Ave. They serve some food and they have a Medeterian night on Friday nights where they serve some food. Next time I have all my Arab friends over my house, I will have to invite you to eat our food. I am pretty good at cooking middle eastern foods.

sounds awsome. The harem pants were my favorite part of the uniform, it made me feel like I was waitressing in my pajamas. Middle eastern food is my comfort food.

Isra1986, hello! I think I am closest to you! We live in Dagsboro and hang out in the Bethany Beach area a lot. I go for beach walks every weekend. I usually start at Sea Colony and walk to South Bethany then to Bethany and back. My son will be 6 months old tomorrow and November was also our due month. Do you want to get together, maybe even this weekend?
