Hi,

I am new to the group and would like to chat with folks in my area. I am a SAHM to two wonderful Ethiopian born sons. My oldest is about 9 and is disabled from polio. My youngest is 2. I am married, 42yrs old, originally from Pensacola Florida, an animal rescuer (mostly horses), buddhist (although you wouldn't know it by looking

), crocheter, reader, bargain hunter (love thrift shops

), and formerly a mortician. I've lived in the area for 26yrs now. I homeschooled my oldest for a year before he entered public school. He successully finished his first year and will be starting 2nd grade this fall. I would really like to get to know others with toddlers who might like to get together for play days or "stitch & bitch" sessions. I look forward to learning more about the group.

I'm in SE Olympia. I have one son, who is 7, and will also be entering 2nd grade this year. I'm Margi, also a sahmama. My son is Joe, and dh is John. We moved to Olympia about 17 months ago and love it. Though, I'm growing tired of this heat!

Hi! I'm Katherine, and yes, a SAHM mama too! I have a 2 and a half y/o daughter and a 3 month old son. We live in Lacey, near St. Martins. Nice to "meet" you both! We plan to hoeschool Hailyn and Ashton as well, but I am unsure for how long. I love that you have horses! I grew up with them, but have "saddled up" in years! Need any help????

Hi I am Jamie and I live in West Oly.I am married, 28, and I have 3 kids one 6 1/2 boy who will be starting first grade. A 3 1/2 year old boy and a 6 month old girl. I stay home with my kiddos too. We have lived in OLY for about 3 1/2 years and we love it here. We moved here from Port Angeles and I worked at the public library there and maybe when the kids are bigger I will go back to that..Who knows. It was a good job fit for me!

I love to get together with the other Mama's around here! We have had some get togethers and I am itchin for another one soon!! Anyone want to have another get together?? Just tell me when and where and I will try my hardest to be there!!
