Just wondering if there are any secular unschoolers/homeschoolers in the Keene/Walpole or even Brattleboro area. My niece is 8 and looking to connect with other like-minded people.

Hi! I live S. of Keene. I'm about equal distance from both Keene and Brattleboro. I have 4 kids. I my oldest is an 8yr old dd. We've been homeschooling for 3 years. I recently discovered a yahoo group for Keene area homeschoolers. They have weekly meetings. I haven't gone to one yet, but I'm hoping to soon. If you go to yahoo groups and type in Keene homeschool it should show right up. PM me if you want to try and get together. I definitely want my kids to meet other homeschoolers. They are starting to feel the whole "all my friends go to school" thing...

I just re-read your OP and saw you were looking for secular homeschoolers. We are Catholic, but are very open to meeting other homeschoolers regardless of beliefs or homeschooling method.
