We moved to New Hampshire last year and I have been trying to get into contact with some families who are inspiered by Steiner's philosophies and tend to live a more natural/ holistic way. I am a Waldorf child myself and therefore am very interested in raising my child in that direction. I know of the Waldorfnetwork board in New England but so far nobody has replied to my posts of trying to get toghether. I guess that forum is not viewed very much at the moment.

So if any of you are living in southern New Hampshire and are interested in a meeting I would love to hear from you!

I am interested and live on the VT/NH line. There aren't any Waldorf schools near us I am pretty sad about that actually.

I'm in Vermont, but not anywhere close to NH, sorry. My daughter goes down to Keene occasionally for conferences at Sophia's Hearth.

Hi Mama Coltrane,

Thanks for your reply! It is good to hear that there are some families out there after all.

I just checked on a Waldorf school in your area, but yes the nearest school to you would be in Conway, which is a substantional distance. I am looking at Pine Hill in Wilton, which is about 40 minutes from here, but I will have to test drive the route first to make sure it is managable even in winter.

It would be really nice to meet up somewhere but you do live about 2 hours away from here... the problem is that I do not drive yet myself and I could manage meetings only in the area of Manchester at the moment, as to that is where dh could drop us off and pick up again. So if you are willing to drive down here somewhere it would be great, otherwise we would have to wait until I get my drivers license. Sorry lived most of my life in Europe, where a license in not really needed,....what a change, not really thrilled about learning to drive.
