on occasion it's got a good article. but .. that's maybe once every 3 or 4 issues. (This month's goodie is the fluoride one.) the recipes are pretty consistantly good, if you can get your hands on sometimes majorly unusual ingredients.<br><br>
i got a 2yr gift sub .. and honestly? It's not something I'd ever pay to renew. It really only seems like a "rich people who want to be cool and earth-conscious, and blow a bunch of money doing it" kinda mags. I mean, c'mon. $680 throw pillows? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/nut.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="nut">

I somehow got a free subscription by going to the Free Stuff forum at <a href="http://www.online-sweepstakes.com" target="_blank">www.online-sweepstakes.com</a> and looking on the magazine rack thread.<br><br>
But I wouldn't pay money for it.

I go to the YDF website and find my free subs there. Usually through freebizmag.com or magscentral.com....
