I've done the rounds of alternative medicine throughout my life, so I'm pretty well versed in the various methodologies. However, I saw an N.A.E.T. doctor last week, and I admit I am skeptical. (I am seeing him to try to figure out food sensitivities for my eczema, as my various elimination diets and scratch tests and blood tests have not provided any answers.)

My biggest issue is that it seems too easy. He identifies the triggers by me touching a vial, and then I hold that vial in my hand for 10 minutes, then I avoid that allergen for 25 hours, and poof, I'm no longer sensitive to it. Seriously? Has anyone had success with this, or is it a scam?

I've used NAET very successfully with my DD's. I was very skeptical, and I have to say that years later, I still don't understand it, but it worked for us. I've known others who it wasn't successful for, so it does depend.
