This is my third pregnancy and I had no bleeding with the first two. I am 9 1/2 weeks along, and I know this can be normal. I've read a ton of the past posts and they were really reassuring, but I just wanted to know if any other Mama's are going through this.(around the same time) It's so scary!
Thanks!

I don't know as if it is normal so much as fairly common. I would call into your OB or MW though.

I had a bleeding episode at 10 1/2 weeks that scared me half to death. I had a big gush of bright red blood with "stuff" in it. I thought for sure I was losing my baby. I went to the ER and saw baby on ultrasound wiggling away. I continued to spot for almost 3 weeks. It has finally stopped and I am now over 13 weeks and starting to feel movement. I was in at the OB about once a week for a while just for my own reassurance, but my little one seems intent on sticking, thank goodness! It is the scariest thing I have experienced in any of my 3 pregnancies. Hugs to you. I hope it passes quickly and that your baby is just fine.

I am 12 weeks and spotting brown/dark red and freaking out.
I went for a vigorous bike ride the evening before it started and think/hope I caused an abrasion or something up there.
I've been waiting to miscarry/praying and talking to baby not to for 4 days now. When I try to listen w my stethoscope I swear I feel the baby wiggling. I go see the doc tomorrow.
I was one of those anti-u/s and doppler people but I may be changing my tune for the peace of mind of hearing that heartbeat.
Hoping I don't have a nervous breakdown before then.

i just posted about this the other day.

I've been spotting (brown) since before week 5 - had an ultrasound at 6.5 - said it was a very small subchorionic bleed. Told to take it light until it had stopped for a week. It lasted another week, and I waited a week before having sex. So, I decide to be nice to my husband yesterday and as soon as I got up afterwards I started bleeding - A LOT! Pouring out of me - I was convinced it wasn't good. My midwife was sure it was from the bleed and having sex since I wasn't cramping, so she told me to just rest til today. Just got back from another ultrasound and we saw the baby and heard the heartbeat. So there is always still that chance that bright red blood doesn't automatically mean a miscarriage.

Hope your hanging in there.. I know how scary it can be! It's been 5 days since the heavy bleed and there is still so much leftover blood cleaning itself out. I've even had clumps - like the lining look when you have your period.. I think this will be here for weeks.. uggh!

Oh Mama's, thank you so much. Thankfully, my bleeding has been more like spotting. I know there are a lot of reasons this can happen, and it is even around the time I used to get my period. I read about this stuff all the time, but it is SO scary when it is you. I too am not for ultrasounds and such, but am debating to go and check. Part of me feels like the relief of seeing that things are okay is better for my body than to carry around the stress of the unknown. I don't know. I agree this is the Scariest, most emotional moments of my three pregnancies!

Thanks again and to you all!

I've had spotting/bleeding with both PGs. DD is fine, perfect, wonderful! This time around, I've seen the heartbeat and seen baby wriggling around, which was very reassuring. So, so far at least, so good!

I've had some bleeding issues the last couple weeks. All different circumstances. No love for me till after I see my midwife again in another week because the latest incident was the most though I have heard the heartbeat since.
