Maybe I am the only one obcessed with cloth diapers here... but I am going crazy buying them for the new baby!

So what do you have so far? And what do you still hope to get?

I'll start...

I have:

21 Kissaluvs 0's
7 small fuzzi bunz

8 wonderoos
2 bumgenius
15 mother ease one size
(not sure on how the one size's will work so keeping them as back up.)

11 covers (like bummis but unsure of the name; again I don't know if these will work... they were super cheap.)

2 small mother ease airflow covers

------

Still would like
some premie fuzzi bunz
12 premie indian prefolds
12 infant prefolds
more fuzzi bunz smalls

This is my last baby and I want the best diapers I can afford for him or her... its becoming and obcession.

No, you are not the only one
I'm totally obsessed with diapers, too. I haven't gotten any for the new babe yet, unless you count that one BSWW that I accidentally got in nb size instead lg.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go boring though and just use prefolds with bummis and some fuzzi bunz for good measure. I have never used a fitted or aio, but I just use prefolds and a few pockets with my toddler an she's fine.

We use cloth around here... but I sew them all! The price to sew them is MUCH cheaper than buying them! And your chose of fabrics and things are endless....

So far I have only sewn 9 nb dipes and one cover for the baby... but I have all of ds's diapers that I can reuse...

I have sewn mine in the past but it took almost 1 hr per (aio) dipe... I am not big on velcro if I had a snap press I would probably try again. Are you doing snaps or velcro? I think if I tried again I would stick to pockets.. less work and I like them better.

I'm obsessed but not actively doing much yet. Partly I'm waiting to find out how big the baby is. DS was so big he was only in size nb or sm stuff for about 2-3 months before he was in mediums.

However, that hasn't stopped me checking out the TP and ebay for deals on used stuff.
So far all I've bought are 4 sm and 4 med motherease airflow covers, and yarn to begin knitting soakers. Oh and I have a heap of really super well-used fitteds & covers I got off of freecycle, which I'm not sure I will use, they're used almost to the point of ick.

My desire with this babe is to add greater variety to my stash, which is frankly a little boring - half prefolds, half pockets. They work, and well, but I'd like a bit of flare.... and if it's a girl I really gotta have me some cute girly dipes!

It had been a while since I had to buy anything for Jack so this new babe has been a GREAT excuse! I am newly obsessed with wool (I have been knitting soakers like mad) but used mostly Fuzzi bunz with Jack after he outgrew his kissaluv sz. 0s, so I've had fun acquiring more fitteds (both nb and big sizes for Jack) and yummy wool covers (mainly kiwi pie cashmeres, used but they are still gorgeous and loveybums, and some assorted random soakers.)

LOVIN IT!!!

Oh goodness, that's what I've been doing all week, since finding out this little one is a boy.

So far I have:

24 infant UBCFP
24 premium UBCFP

6 WAHM fitteds

3 small Bummis (one polar, one aplix, one snap)

1 NB Wiggleworm Bottoms cover

2 SM Wiggleworm Bottoms covers

2 NB/SM Loveybum wool jersey (my favorite)

4 NB proraps

6 SM proraps

2 Tot Bots fleece, SM

1 SM Loveybums fleece

2 SM FB

12 medium FBs

I'm going to go buy fabric soon to make wipes, doublers and inserts, and maybe some preemie prefolds. I check all of the major FSOT boards daily.

I've started but I don't have much! I need to finish sorting out DD's stash and try to sell the rest of the girly ones
I have 5 size zero kissaluvs, 1 verybaby AIO extra small, 2 small fuzzi bunz, 2 cuddlebuns and 5 Muttaqin onesize. No covers yet! I am aiming to get size zero kissaluvs and swaddlebees, probably some prefolds too, and then all onesize diapers. I really liked cuddlebuns with DD and used them the most (with wool jersey wraps). Plus I like not having to buy sized diapers.

Wow you guys are thinking ahead to mediums... I plan to sell my smalls to fund them.

Portrait pixie - great stash... although I don't know how much you'l like the little lambs one size.. they are one of my least fave diapers... they are really really poufy. Try them before you buy more. I only use the insert from them for my pockets.

I have a snap press. I don't really like velcro either... it really tears apart FOE and PUL... even with the laundry tabs they come undone sometimes and still wreck stuff!

I bought mine as soon as we thought we might be pg
So far I have:

11 XS Very Baby AIOs
2 Sm. Zoom Baby Gear fitteds
2 SM. VB AIOs
2 infant sized Bumware AIOs
1 sm. Happy Heiny pocket
24 preemie PFs
36 infant PFs
3 dz. flats
1 xs Crystal's cloth fitted (to be our first diaper on the babe)
1 pr. NB longies Heavenly huggers
1 pr. Sm Doodlepants
1 pr. MM size sm. longies
2 nb. soakers
2 sm. MM soakers
1 nb/sm Loveybums wooljersey cover
1 sm. Kiwi pie
2 nb. covers
4 sm. covers

I still want a couple more covers just in case I have a pooper this time like I did with DS when my milk came in. And then I want about a dozen AIOs each in small and med. I'm thinking I'll get some Crystal's cloth and VB for smalls and BUmware and Crystal's clother for med. I still have plenty of prem. PFs, more flats, and plenty of AIOs in large left from DS. Normally I'd sell one size to buy the next, but I won't be working when the new babe comes so I'd like to feel I can get through without counting on making enough from selling the others off. I'll still need medium wool and a few special pieces here and there to feed my addiction

HHmmmm.. So now I know who's buying up all the diapers on EBAY!!!!

I used cloth for my last two, and was just getting into the cloth thing with my first but still very GREEN with him

I havent diapered for 4 years ( WOW !)

I have been perusing online for diapers, and while I like fuzzi bunz - I find them very expensive!
I think I am going to settle on chinese unbleached prefolds for 3+ months, and use the snappi, as well as the wool soakers. They are a must- I will probably go with the aristocrats again.

The only thing I found hard about the prefolds were that they made babies bum HUGE, and he barely fit into any clothes!!! Though that was kinda the case for all the diapers.
When I would use the occasional throw away diaper I would think GAWD he's so SMALL!!

GAWD, I feel so out of the loop!
I don't even know what any of the brands or terms are!!!!
I haven't diapered in years...and with ds we used a diaper service, and intermixed sposies...I'm not keen on poop in any form, so I can't imagine I'll be washing my own, though now we have a washing machine...maybe it's b/c I'm still ms, and nausea is brought on by even passing thoughts about poop...
What are people's favorites and why?

Hubby thinks I'm nuts for wanting to start our stash for the new babe already.

DS is diapered in mainly FB's, with half a dozen Mother Eve one size diapers. I decided to go with pockets when getting into cloth diapering because I thought it would be the easiest for a newbie.

With this new babe I'm venturing out into other diapers. I have bought 17 small FB's, but don't plan on getting anymore than that. I want to use fitteds and prefolds to bulk up the rest of my stash.
