So i am almost 5 weeks and experience stomach cramps throughout the day, they arnt overly painful and not constant, but they still make me nervous.
Im pretty sure I cramped with my last two pregnancies but I cant completely remember because of the 4 year gap.

Is it normal, are any of you guys experiencing they same?

I normally cramp and stretch quite a bit early on, I even spotted a lot with my last baby. I think the only reason I'm not cramping very much is that I had a super early miscarriage last month (like by the time I was due) and had stretched out a good bit already. I really wouldn't worry about it, especially if it's been a long time since you were pregnant. That uterus has a lot of work to do!

I've been having tons of cramping this pg--both menstrual type and stretchy sensations. Sometimes burning. It was most intense the week after AF was due. I was worried about it and started a thread in the general "I'm Pregnant" forum. I was relieved to discover lots of people have had this--one was even worried one pg when she wasn't crampy! So good wishes that your belly is just getting busy making room and mine too and anyone else's with this.

I'm cramping a lot, too - it's pretty mild, and I usually don't notice it unless I'm sitting quietly. I know it's normal but it still makes me paranoid!

My cramping was pretty constant until I hit about 6 weeks, I am also already getting sharp stabs in my pelvis that I think are round ligament pains already.

I'm also crampy. I remember being crampy with DS, but it's still really scary. I also get round ligament pain early.

Yes! For the past week and a half, I've had the same thing going on, with some spotting. I'm so glad to read all this, 'cause it was freaking me out, too. It's been five years since I was pregnant and I don't remember it at all, so didn't know if this was normal. I'm feeling a lot better today, but the past few days have been tough. Phew!

It's the pulling and pinching you may feel on the sides. For some people it can be sharp pains that go into the groin also. You may also feel a sharp pain or pulling if you stand up really fast, or make a quick movement.

Oh, thanks, thats good to know cos I have that too, and I think its that pain that scares me the most. By groin, do you mean cervix as i sometimes get pain there and freak out thinking that its dilating and im going to lose the baby.

Im not normally this neurotic by the way, i had a threatened miscarriage with #2 at 9 weeks when I woke up in a pool of blood, so although I dont clearly remember my last pregnancy, I remember that day like it was yesterday and I think its that that prevents me from being too excited just yet. Im trying to calm down and just relax and see where this journey takes me, but sometimes its easier said than done. Thanks for all your support!
