Well I'm pretty certian I ovulated last Wednesday and so that means that we can safely start bding again. I didn't want to get pregnant in september because I didn't want to have another June baby(the due date would have been 4 days after my oldest dd'd b'day). So now I'm already getting excited/antsy about catching that egg. Any tips? I really thought we would already be pregnant but it wasn't ment to be in August so now I guess we are actually trying for the second month(something we have never done before). I'm really worried that we're going to have a hard time this time around due to my thyroid surgery. Here's hoping that's not going to happen!
Anyway I was just looking for someone in the 6ww!
Well I have been ttc for 3 monthes so far. I am respondidng because you mentioned thyroid surgery. It will be 2 years in November since my total tyroidectomy due to papillary cancer. In April we were given the go ahead to start ttc if we wanted but we had decided to wait until the end of summer. With my ds I concieved in the first month and we assumed incorrectly that it would be as easy this time. We were wrong. My endocinologist says that my thyroid levels can not affect my ability to concieve but I am learning now that he is not necessaraly correct.
What type of surgery did you have and do you take any replacement therapy. Do you know what your levels are?

I had half of my thyroid removed. I had a nodule that came back suspect after a biopsy, luckily it was begine(sp?) and all was ok. I had also gotten to the point were I could barely swallow because my thyroid was so enlarged.
I now take synthroid .125 every day. My tsh levels are checked every 3 months. When I had them checked in September they were good(I don't know what the number was but we are working to get them to between 2 & 3).

Good Luck to you!!

I recently found a book that has taught me a lot about hypothyroidism. It is called Living Well with Hypothyroidism by Mary Shomon. There is a lot of info in it. Hopefully you will not need it though! I just had my synthroid upped a little but am still trying to get ahold of the Dr to find out what my levels are. I am on cd18. I just started charting this month and my temp went up on cd16 so I am waiting.
Good-Luck!
