I have a pretty active dd and she actually eats better when I feed her snacks in the car and in her stroller on the way to the park. Is this creating a bad habit? I still put her in her booster seat for meals and some snacks...Anyone else's kid eat better "on the go"?

My version of "on the go" with ds is that he refuses to sit in his high chair or booster, so I feed him while he's zipping around the table, playing, etc. I know it's not right, but it's the only way I can get him to eat!

I think my kids must believe that we have a banana tree in the front seat of our car, as every time we go anywhere I ply them with bananas, which they willingly wolf down. But the same banana gets ignored if served attractively at the table.....I'm not too worried about bad habits, as ds sees us eating at the table and participates when his toddler energy allows. And dd (5) has grown into a rather civilized individual, at least at the dinner table,

My dd too. She really dislikes being stuck in her booster seat. She much prefers to be sitting up and down at the kids picnic table, other small table, zipping around. A big part of it is that she watches her older brother doing these things so of course wants to be just like him
. She tends to eat more this way. She also likes to eat "big" things as opposed to tiny pieces. So I will peel an apple and she gnaws away at that forever. But if I was to cut it up she wouldn't touch it. Once again, that older brother influence.

Everytime my ds (3-1/2) gets in the car he says "Where's my snack?"
so obviously we have a habit here. That being said, he is pretty good about sitting at the table too so I'm not too worried.
