Please tell me!! I got my first fireflys today and I don't like them! Am I crazy?

I don't like them at all for my DS but love them for my DD. Did you not like the fit or just the diaper in general??

Really? I have so many fireflies you'd be ashamed of me. What size are they? Are they natural colored? Those need to be prewashed for shrinkage. They work best on chunky babies. My dd isn't chunky at all, but they fit her well. She can wear both the medium and the large. I like the larges best because I like to use a doubler inside.

Me. I don't like them. I don't feel the elbee love, either. But, I'm not a "only natural products" mama, either. Give me cute prints and micro and I am happy.

I did see that they need to be prewashed. Hmmmm.... I still don't think I will like them. Can someone show me a pic of their babe wearing one?

I tried and didn't like em. I think they are fine for babies under 20 pounds but any bigger and they are a big sag.

I havent tried them, but I know what it is like to hear about a diaper that is "sooo good" and score one and be dissapointed. I got a fuzbaby and though I like it, I can NOT for the life of me see what the fuss is about to pay 30+ for one diaper. Be it diaper art or not. The thing that turns me off about it is there is absolutely no elastic in the waist, so on the tightest setting it is TOO tight and on the second setting it falls off. I just cant win with it, LOL. But it is very absorbent and pretty, LOL, I will just never buy one again, LOL

Really, so I can resist buying them??? I really do prefer side snap diapers, but I'm getting pulled into the firefly website, such pretty colors!! But if you all don't like them, then I can resist!!!

At first I loved them. Then I didn't like them and I sold most of them. Now, sadly, I like them again and I only have 4. They were a touch too big but now that she has grown into them they fit like a glove.

I will say that I have no regrets selling the organic cotton, she actually pooped straight through it on more than one occasion.

I wasn't thrilled at all! (weird cause I love her other fitteds.. the garden set ones)

and Hunter didn't poop through it, he peed right out the side!!! (ours was organic cotton too!)

I know what you mean...I have one and my son has worn it once maybe twice....its been washed I just dont like it....I am keeping it not sure why. I am thinking maybe one day I will put it on him and bam the love will be there right now I avoid it at all cost. I just dont like it.

i like them on dd, but have found them to not be terribly adjustable. if they fit, they fit great, but if they don't fit...

I just posted abou this a few weeks ago. I bought one firefly and one firefly sleeptight. Man, were they expensive. Everyone said they were worth it. Since I do diaper laundry every day, I figured it would be my nighttime diaper.

Doesn't work. We've tried it several times and everytime he wakes up crying, wanting to be changed in the night. Plus it's so bulky on him. Last night I used a sugarplum baby hemp fitted with a joey bunz as doubler and topped that with a thin wool doubler, shoved the whole thing in a wool cover (gotta love the tp) and it was still trimmer than the firefly - plus it held him all night.

So, no, it's not just you. I keep meaning to list mine for sale. We never use them.

I traded for a brand new one once... got it and never put it on DD or DS. I just looked at it for a while. It just never GRABBED me. I heard a bunch of people loved them but it didn't do anything for me. I eventually sold it off. Most of the Fuzbaby diapers don't do much for me either, I do really like a couple of the Diaper Garden ones. (Love the wool covers!!! Well the gorgeous designs

wish she'd made more of them in the Fuzeasy style!)

I'm just not that much of a Front snap person. I loved side-snaps on my DD. Now I really like side-aplix best on my DS.

When I got mine I was in my third trimester and I loved them. I would pet them almost daily. The colors were beautiful, I had the most perfect rainbow, they were sewn perfectly, and the soaker wings were a brilliant idea. I loved them. Then my baby came along with skinny little legs that wouldn't chunk up. The pee would just run down her legs

I had to sell them

I keep thinking I should try them again but her legs need more rolls first and I don't know if she will ever get them.

They are ok, but they weren't my fave. So now they are gone.

We love our FF's. DD is just starting to grow out of her smalls. I like the mediums better - more absorbtion. We have 4 sleeptights and I love them. DD is a heavy wetter and frequent so they have been working great for us.

I have been so torn about selling off some of them. I am so afraid that when DD starts moving around she will trim down.

I love mine...the smalls fit on the last snap and the mediums fit not crossed over... They are all very trim. BUT my son has chubby legs, so that might be why? Sorry you were disappointed!

See, my DS has skinny legs too, so most chunky legged diapers don't fit him well.
