I just went to the ladies room for the oooo....I don't know...10th time today (and it's only 10 a.m.) and I was thinking about how late pregnancy is so much like my experience with TTC and early pregnancy (in terms of obsessing about EVERY LITTLE THING). :LOL

I wiped and there was a teeny tiny red spot on the TP (sorry TMI) and I got all excited....then I noticed that I'm wearing RED underwear and it was just a thread.

It reminded me of last fall when my period was due -- after 10 cycles of TTC -- and I was going to the bathroom every 10 minutes praying NOT to see blood.

And then there's the signs....

Last night I saw a BIG BEAUTIFUL rainbow in the sky AND it was a full moon and I was SOOOOO EXCITED -- clearly signs that labor would begin last night (ummmm...yeah, it didn't).

Anyway....

Anyone have a similar experience or am I just a crazy obsessive nut?

:LOL

I had that exact same experience early in this pregnancy. I started freaking out because I saw these teeny, tiny red spots on my tp, and then realized it was just thread from my red underwear. After that, I stopped wearing red underwear.

Ugh! The waiting and waiting and waiting! At least the 2ww is just that!
We went through 14 cycles and several IUI's AND clomid to get pregnant, but I only had to wait until 10 DPO to test.

Now... I could be pregnant for weeks yet. Or days. Or hours. No one knows.

I'm not getting cervical checks so I cannot even obsess over how far dilated/effaced I am. No tinge of blood. No mucus plug. Only some irregular and mild contactions... occasionally.

People have become very annoying to me, so I've been staying at home most of the time. I cannot deal with the comments from strangers (and friends) and I certainly don't feel like giving the 987,403 account of how I'm feeling and blah blah or letting them know if I'm "ready to pop yet."

I swear I will never ever ask a pregnant woman anything annoying. I know now that she will volunteer information she wishes to divulge.

Ahhh... That feels a little bit better. For a few minutes, anyway. :LOL

I could have written that word-for-word! At my last appointment my MW said....I have no medical reason to check you but if you ever want an internal exam, just ask. I was like....ooooo.....maybe....I'm kind of curious....but then she reminded me that it tells us nothing about when "it" is going to happen....so I passed.

weetzie ~ Good luck! Hope you get your BFP!!
