The title pretty much says it all. Is this normal? I've peed about 3 times in the last hour and right now I feel like I haven't peed in hours.

I did drink a cup of coffee this morning before AF started, but even without caffeine it's usually like this!

Does it happen all the time for you, or did you just notice?
I've never really thought about it, so will try and notice next time. Maybe it's the pressure from a "full" uterus or just the way your uterus/cervix are sitting at this time that puts more pressure on your bladder.

It happens with every AF. That's one of the days (besides the birth control pills) that I know when it's about to start. It starts the day I begin to bleed.

Since it happens everytime, I'd say it's just the way your uterus and/or cervix are positioned at that time putting pressure on your bladder.

That makes sense. I didn't think about it that way since I don't seem to bleed too much.

Yes.

For me it starts the day before so I have had several moments of "Oh my God, I must be pregnant, where is the blood?" It is the exact same feeling as when I am pregnant. I think I may have had it before dd but never noticed until after being pregnant.

Yup, me too. And I also have the pregnancy feeling too, but then again, I almost always feel pregnant - but that's another thread!
