At the begining of this pregnancy I felt totally normal, now the past 3 days (I'm 11 weeks) I'm so hungry! Its like this wave of hunger that comes over me. I feel like if I don't eat RIGHT NOW I will be sick.
I think this happend with #1 and here I am trying not to put on much weight

Yup!! I never had morning sickness with my others, but this time I do--just recently. I've figured out that if I don't eat, that's when it hits me. Of course, it's hard to eat when you feel nauseated, so I'm trying to pay attention to when I first feel hungry and not let it get to that point.

On the weight thing...I'm not even paying attention!

I am eating SMALL meals, but...well...a LOT of them!

No I am not. So of course I am worried since I had a blighted ovum between number 2 and 3. However, I do have a very very bad habit of not eating until one or two in the afternoon but if I do that now then I feel sick. Even yesterday, I ate a bowl of oatmeal in the morning and by noon I was feeling sick so, maybe that starvation hasn't set in but I do defiantly feel a difference in the way I normally eat. I am 10 weeks 5 day (I think) so maybe it will hit soon.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of my 12th week and I am SO SO SO hungry. I eat two breakfasts (one at home and one at work), lunch, another meal before dinner, and then dinner and a snack before bed. For a few weeks I was waking up at 3:30 a.m. and had to get up and eat - luckily that seems to have died down. But the hunger is crazy it's like I must eat as soon as I feel the slightest hunger pang otherwise I feel like I haven't had a meal in a week. I've stock piled fruit and work so I try to graze on grapes, apples, etc. during the day.
11 weeks here, I've been starving since the beginning. Which actually sucks because I still have severe food adversions, I'm so hungry all the time but struggle to eat anything.

I'm in my 12th week too and my appetite just suddenly increased - it seems like my energy has too. I keep teasing my husband that I know it is his because he is such a snacker! I'll eat and then be hungry 2 to 3 hours later even though I didn't even do anything that required much physical energy! It makes sense - it's growth spurt time now that everything is formed! I'm short and unlike my husband, I don't have a high metabolism and have had to really exercise and watch what I eat so this feels really different but I'm thankful because it means our little one is growing. Last time I miscarried in the 11th week so from this part on, it's all new to me!!!
I have been hungry but not in the normal way, like I am when not pregnant. I feel like i can't really decipher what my brain is signalling, hungry or not hungry.

I have indigestion late in the evening, but i crave certain things so I eat them.

We eat pretty healthy to begin with but lately have had some bad habits. Mostly i am so tired and have no energy to make a decent meal what with homeschooling and everything else in a normal busy woman's life.

I am starving all the time! I get so nauseous if I eat anything with fat in it, even avacado, that my diet is severely limited and I feel so hungry all of the time... I am ten weeks and am losing weight instead of gaining! When the nausea subsides i am afraid I will pig out for a while... do any of you have this problem with fat?

Hrmm maybe. My nausea is basically gone but the other night I made bacon and eggs for dinner because that is all I had at the time. I was nauseous the rest of the night. I know it was the bacon that made me nauseous but I never thought that maybe it was the fat
maybe that is my problem too, can you eat meat? Or are you basically eating veggies? WHat about milk?
Karen
no meat... no milk... veggies, fruit, bread, noodles (butterless), tofu.... that is about what my diet consists of.... I can't stomach anything with fat in it or I get too nauseous to move... yuck.
ME! I am always hungry!
