And I know she had plenty of space to groove out in without bumping into the sides but still... I'd <i>really</i> like to feel those little flutters you know? Anyone else still not feeling it?

I did not feel a thing until the middle of my 20th week. I was sure that I would be the first to deliver a baby and never have felt it. But then I felt a tiny nudge and looked down to see what had bumped my belly. Then I realized it was bumped from the INSIDE! It was amazing.<br><br>
(Oh and my placenta is anterior, likely why I couldn't feel it for sooooo long)<br><br>

I do feel things every once in a while but not nearly as much as my last two boys. I know he's moving too because I saw it in the ultrasound and have heard him move when listening to the heartbeat. I just like to think he's real laid back. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

I am not feeling any movement either....yet. I saw a bunch of movement on ultrasound yesterday...so I know the babe is moving.<br><br>
My placenta is anterior too....so Dr. said I might not feel movement for a bit still....<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad">

oh yes that's me... and I'm actually due late August- sheesh @ 22 weeks I wsh for just a little something! I'll have an ultrasound next week, which I'm quite sure will reveal an anterior placenta.

Same boat, nothing quite yet that would tell me that it is indeed a baby moving. I have my one and only U/S on Monday.

I'm not feeling any movement either. I'm 18 wks today. I have been feeling *something* but definitely nothing that I can't be sure isn't gas, kwim?

Not really, I'm at 18w3d. I swore I felt movement (very definite fluttering) on April 12th, which was between 16 and 17 weeks, but nothing since! I was VERY full after dinner that night, more full than I ever really get on a daily basis, so I don't know if that had something to do with it! I keep trying to concentrate and wait for that feeling, but just hasn't happened. We saw her moving around and waving and kicking at the u/s yesterday, so I'm wondering if maybe I'm feeling it but not realizing what it is, since it's not as clear-cut as that first time I noticed it. Hopefully soon it will be more consistent! DH keeps asking when he'll be able to feel her kick. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">

Same thing here, I am 21 weeks w/my 3rd and only feel random flutters. My placenta is anterior as well....1st time in 3 preg....it's really weird not to feel much of anything yet...and sad<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad">

I was gonna start this thread! I'm only 17 weeks or so, but it is my 3rd, so I was expecting to feel them by now. I dunno, maybe my placenta is in the way too?<br><br>
It is bugging me though, b/c I don't do u/s and my new mw really only uses a fetoscope, so I haven't even heard a heartbeat yet. At my last prenatal, I did ask her to try w/ the doppler, but before she got it (only a few minutes of trying) the battery to it died. I wasn't really worried, b/c I really could tell that she is pretty inexperienced or out of practice w/ the doppler, but still....<br><br>
I have gotten a few "maybe" pokes, so hopefully I'll feel something real soon.
