I am really finding it hard to keep up with my diet - I'm basically doing the Brewer thing, lots of protein, lots of densely nutritious food, no junk, etc. These days, though, my appetite is shrinking! Less room in the old tummy, I guess. I'm really having to space out meals and snacks, and I'm always eating when I'm not hungry. When I'm not preg, it's not like I'm this naturally thin person who eats like a bird. I don't. At all. I'm usually on the "filled out" side, never been skinny.

Yesterday my midwife estimated by feel that my baby is about 6 pounds at this point and she suggested I eat more fat - I know, what a shame, right? But I don't know if I can get it down! I guess I'll add butter to stuff, eat even more cashews than I already do....somehow....

Anyway, just a mild vent, really. Anyone else?

I'm the opposite.. I am STARVING most days. I eat dinner and then an hour later I want to eat again then again before I go to bed. It's ridiculous!

If only we could trade tummies for a day or two, I'd fatten you and the babe up in no time! lol

I have to force myself to eat most days. I eat what sounds good at the time & lately that has been pb & j. I do make a protein shake at breakfast though...27 grams of protein for sure.

me me me! I'm totally losing my appetite, and stopped really gaining weight. I have so little room in my stomach I'm full after a few bites. I do have to eat frequently though, or I get nauseous. I've been throwing up pretty much every day, just like the first trimester.

a little bit for me. Find I cannot eat like I used to of course. Less room makes me sick afterwards. Just feel too bloated if I eat too much at a time. A little every so often is good.

I don't know. I feel like I am eating little bits often, but not whole meals. Babe is a good size though, and with my reflux issues I just need to make sure I can keep enough down.

Yeah, really! I thought a 6 lb baby at 34 weeks was pretty darn good! I was very surprised when my mw said she should be bigger by now - not that she presented it as something to worry about, by any means, just to motivate me to keep eating a lot. I'm sure the baby will be just fine.
