Like near the bellybutton? I know my uterus is up near the bellybutton at this point, I just had an appt. yesterday and the Dr. felt it and so did I. I'm 16 weeks and a couple days, and all day today I've been feeling lots of little bumps, etc. to the left of my bellybutton, and maybe a little bit lower than that. I've felt some movement before w/ this LO but I'm wondering if anyone else is feeling it this high right now? Maybe it's a muscle twitch LOL

I am 16 weeks with my first baby, so I can't say for sure. I think I am feeling movement an inch or two below my belly button. When I lay on my stomach I feel it more. I can differentiate from the feeling of my pulse in that area, and then there are just little flutters, or popping things, or something like that. I don't know, it might be my imagination.

It's the opposite for me. I'm 17 weeks, and I remember feeling the bumps and pops up high last time, but this time they are so low, down by my pubic bone, even though my belly is huge and right under my boobs already. Maybe lo's just kicking in place, or as my mw said, feels cozy down where it's warm

YES! My babe prefers to stay up high right around my belly button. I felt movement right underneath it before.

My placenta in anterior so I am not sure when I'll feel the baby move. I think I felt my other babies right around 18 weeks, so I am not expecting it quite yet, anyway (I'm 16 weeks now).

Anyway, does anyone know if the placenta being in the front cushions the first little kicks, etc. or do you just feel them in a different spot?

I've been feeling little bumps to the left of my belly button, about an inch down for a little while now. Baby is nestled nice and high per u/s last Friday. Thought now I haven't felt anything in a few days and am worrying

Placenta placement can make a big difference in feeling babe. Last time the placenta was anterior and I didn't feel anything at all until close to 20 weeks, and then never really felt anything too strong right in front, more to the sides and back.
