Well I am 10 dpo today. I took a First Response Early Response in the evening 8 dpo and it was a negative. I took another 9 dpo mid-afternoon after holding it for 4 hours and still negative. Not even a hint of a faint line.
Today I was stupid and spent (wasted?) $30 Canadian on 3 Clearblue Digital tests. In Canada they have a digital plus or minus not words. Anyways I did the test this afternoon after holding it for 3.5 hours and a big blaring negative. I really thought (think?) that I was (am?) pregnant. I have tingly, sensitive breasts, high CP and creamy CM (had that with both of my kids), nausea, heartburn, temps nice and high, went to a third level around 7 dpo. I feel really warm all the time even when i'm in a nice air conditioned building. Oh I have also had what would feel like ligament pains. The reason why I am thinking I must NOT be is that I was able to test positive with my son at 11 dpo (didn't test before then) with a Clearblue easy regular test and I was able to test positive with my daughter 9 dpo with an Aimstick. So wouldn't I get even the faintest glimmer of a line on the FRER? And is it possible to get a negative on a digital test but still be pregnant? They came in a pack of 3 so I guess I'll take another 12 dpo and then 14 dpo. I need to know by 14 dpo, if its still negative by then I will have to go off my progesterone cream so I can get AF. I am hiding the tests because my husband will be really upset if he knows I wasted that much money on pregnancy tests! Any input?

I had a negative CBE digital at 10dpo, and postitive at 12dpo. Also the FRER tests seem to be using much less dye than they used to. There have been a lot of complaints on a fertility board I read that the tests are really, really light. I had a VERY light FRER at 10dpo, and then it was even lighter the next day, at 11dpo (worried me). Good luck!

I took digital EPTs starting around 8 dpo with this pregnancy. Got negatives until 11dpo. So you could still be pregnant. Keep us posted!

Oh, and I totally understand about hiding the tests from your DH :LOL . I have done it many times.

The digital tests are typically not very sensitive. This is a list of pregnancy tests & sensitivity: http://www.babyhopes.com/pregnancy-t...nsitivity.html The ClearBlue digital is supposedly very sensitive, but I could have sworn the last time I checked that page it said something different!
:

I will say, though, that the ONLY home pregnancy test that has ever worked for me in three pregnancies is the Wal-Mart Equate test. It's also about the cheapest you can buy in the store, at least here in the US. My first pregnancy I tested what turned out to be 5 weeks pregnant with an EPT and popped negative.

As they say, false-negatives are a lot more prevalent than false positives, though I've had one of those too. With an EPT, now that I think of it...

Thanks guys! (crap now I sound like that cheesy Balmex commercial :LOL ) I guess its not over until the fat lady sings...and I don't feel like singing yet.
I guess 10 dpo is pretty early. I am going to make myself wait until Wednesday and test with FMU. DH totally doesn't get why I am so crazy about this. I really feel like I am pregnant so I either want confirmation that I am right or just to know that I am totally nuts and can't trust my instincts at all.

I went to Walmart to look for Equate tests and they didn't have them.
: I am in Canada but I do remember taking one back in 2001 when I was trying to conceive my daughter.

Have you thought about just going to your doctor and having a blood test done?
When I was pg with my son I knew I was pregnant from the blood test, but I just wanted to see it on a pee test and it didn't show up till I was 2 months pg!
This time I was 3 weeks past af and the doc did a blood test and I knew in 10 minutes!

I only had to pay my deductable and I was actually there for something else.

At least then you would know for sure.

Yep! I'm pregnant!
I got a positive internet test strip early the next day 11 dpo and then bought a First Response and it was positive. Took another digital on 13 dpo and it was positive!
