I've ordered some nice organic velour and have some nice hemp.I'd like to paint on them but it's something I've yet to do and I don't know what my best paint is to use.

anyone??
hints tricks etc welcome as well!

Dyna-Flo, Setacolor, and Jacquards Textile Piants are all high quality textile paints. They all require a heat set to be permanent, ironing works great but put some newsprint inbetween and use a lower heat setting.

Also, Liquidex is an paint you can find at Michaels. It is a high quality piant and really is the same as the fabric paints above(they are all acrylic-type pigment paints) If you go the Liquidex route, get the medium viscosity. I use these (watered down) to tie-dye larger tapestries.

Heat set just like the others

These paints work on synthetic fibers so I would say YES. However, because PUL is supposed to be waterproof/impermeable on the outer/not fuzzy layer, I am wondering if there are any cells for the paint to adhere to.
Anybody have experience with painting on PUL?
