It's prob too early to ask this question for most of you. I really need a maternity bathing suit though. It's supposed to get up to 80 degrees today (sorry midwest mamma's my mom told me how cold it is in Indiana today). We've got some year round pools in the city that are open and I would LOVE to just float around in them. I've gotten addicted to baths lately because of how nice it feels to float.

Anyone have a brand they love? I have a coupon for the Gap but they are only online and the lady at the store said they never sell them there because their section is too small (it's in the baby gap).

I try to avoid Motherhood Maternity but will go there when I have no other options.

My black, one piece Gap suit. It fit me almost to the bitter end when I just added a pair of black cotton shorts as it pulled away from my body in the crotch area, and that really wasn't so flattering.

You might find some in the stores already - i was out shoping for corduroys and I noticed that Kohls already has suits out!!!!! Crazy early for the midwest, if you ask me!

My second job is as a diving coach so I spend lots of time in water. The one that I like the most right now is from target. Compared to some of the other maternity lines they are nearly half the price and good quality. I've been wearing one everyday for about a month(for at least 6 hours a day) and it hasn't faded or started to wear yet.

I was just in Motherhood Maternity a couple weeks ago and they had a bathing suit out already.. I can't remember if there was more than one. As for them bothering me for my personal information I just said I'm sorry I don't feel comfortable sharing that at this time. As I was paying in cash they really had no identification needs. It wasn't a big deal and the cashier was totally fine with it. I don't know if it would be elsewhere and I just got lucky but they can't force you to share info you aren't comfortable with sharing.

I really wish the Gap here had them in stores so I could try them on. I'm going to get a tankini I think, maybe one with a skirt at the bottom since I tend to show more in my butt then my belly LOL. I can size the bottom well but I always have a hard time getting a top that fits me correctly. I'm addicted to Gap maternity clothes and I live in my jeans from there (I seriously wear them every day because they are so awesome).

It is crazy that you're seeing suits already! I asked the lady today at the Gap when shorts were coming in and she said not for another month or two! I'm sure by next month I'll want shorts and not pants anymore.

And just remember, I know it's cold there right now, but just think: at least you won't be 9 mos pregnant in 110-115 degree heat! Thank goodness we don't have to pay our utilities because the electric bill this summer would be outrageous. Everyone at my work keeps asking me how I'll keep the birth tub warm and I'm like, "warm!? It's going to be over 100 degrees, throw ice in it I don't care!"

I'm going to check out the Target suits... I'm still wearing my Old Navy 2-piece from last pg. Unfortunately it's worn pretty badlyfrom too much chlorine exposure and is totally stretched out in the bottoms. Every time I do jumping jacks during aqua aerobics I lose them around my knees luckily I'm in the pool with a bunch of 80 year old grandmas so I don't think they care too much...

I ordered a one piece maternity suit from land's end (online) and it was great. LOTS of material in the belly so it didn't look thin when stretched. Both myself and my sister have used it and it still looks great, other than chlorine fading. No stitching coming out or bare threaded areas.

I just bought the size medium Gap suit, it's got so incredibly much lycra/spandex/stretch going on that you truly can order they way they tell you to online.

Is it one piece or two? I'm just not sure how to order the top and their sizing thing doesn't really tell me anything for the top.

I got a Motherhood Maternity tankini off of e-bay year before last (for my birthday present - my chosen b-day present and I LOVE it! It's the size I normally wear and it fits me even when I'm not pregnant (as well as when I'm in my 9th month) so I'll be getting a lot of use out of it

I actually have two maternity suits - one from last time and one this time- found them both second hand, so they were not horrbly expensive. The one I just got I HAD to get becaue it's a halter tankini thing and it looks realy cute on. It happens to be Liz Lange- so I guess Target. Only thing that's a bummer is with my shape the tope fits great, but the bottoms are a bit snug.

i looked at the gap suits online, but it doesn't seem like they have much booty coverage (specifically the two piece bottoms). anyone tried those?

I just went over to the Motherhood site to check out bathing suits and:

http://www.motherhood.com/Shop_Mothe...category_Id=19

How airbrushed is she? Her tummy looks like plastic!

WISH I looked like that in my bathing suit when I'm pregnant (well, except for the plastic aspect)
