I'm trying desperately to convert dd1 away from the evil grocery store things dh keeps bringing home (but that's a rant of it's own...) I'd like to make some fairly sweet spelt sourdough bagels. I found one recipe online, apparantly reprinted from the book Adventures in San Francisco Sourdough Cooking and Baking. Ok, looks pretty basic... but it seems to be designed for white flour, so I'm not sure how well it will work with whole grain spelt (especially spelt ground in a coffee grinder, which has more the texture of graham flour than whole wheat). Does anybody here have a tried and true recipe? If so, please please please
: If not... I'll report on my findings with the recipe I found on Wednesday or Thursday
