I have used disp wipes
while cloth diapering for 6yrs and I would like to get rid of that too! I have a friend that bought wipe solution and sprays it on her DD bottom than wipes it off with cloth wipes. I do not want to buy the solution cuz it has that Lauryl Sulfate stuff. Does anyone have a good recipe? Any ideas? I just got a ton of wipes form another mama in a stash I bought. Also do I have to rince the wipes before washing?
: Probably a stupid Q. Thank you!

We don't use wipes anymore (a quick rinse in the sink or some TP is all we use now), but when we did here is the recipie we used:

Get a 16 oz water bottle with a squirt top
Take it to the sink and fill it up almost all the way with water.
Secure the lid.
Now you can keep it in your diaper bag and any time you use a cloth wipe you can squirt it with some water or you can squirt the babe's bum directly.
This solution is hypoallergenic.

Ok so it was meant to be a joke, but we just used plain ole water.

I fill up a squirt bottle with water, a capful or so of Burt's Bees apricot oil, about the same amount of Dr. Bronner's soap (almond, because I like the smell), and a few drops of tea tree oil. If I don't overdo the TTO, the solution smells quite nice.

I've been adjusting my recipe over the last few months. I use a 2 cup glass measuring cup and...
1 squirt Dr. Bronner's lavender soap
a few dribbles grapeseed oil
2 drops TTO

Then, I add boiling water to two cups, whisk and let cool. I put my cloth wipes in an old disposable wipey container, and when the solution has cooled, pour it over. It works great for me, because I don't have a ton of wipes... I use washcloths... and they are used up before anything mildews. I don't rinse them after use. Just toss in the diaper pail. Also, I should mention that I don't have to do any "scrubbing" of ds's bum...lol! I think the oil really helps it wipe off very easily. And the solution smells SO GOOD!
