I hate fennel. Always have. I just can't stand anything with that licorice flavor. But I so want to try this recipe, because I have a ton of organic adzuki beans that a friend gave me, and I'm trying to find nummy uses for them. Sooooo, anyone have any ideas for what I could use instead of fennel in this recipe? I'm drawing a blank.
