There is a lonely small Toot Sweet brown Dogwod that is still available and I keep going back to the site and seeing it just sitting there. Poor thing, all alone
. I am so tempted to buy it and I just want to see what it looks like on a baby. Anyone have any pictures??

Also, what do you think about the sizing? According to the site Jack should just be able to fit in it. Well according to the Kiwi site he shouldn't really be able to wear a small but he is in one on the tightest snaps with room to grow?? Ack!

Since I can't seem to get my hands on another small Kiwi and the Toot's look so nice I may just have to get it.

Help!

Too funny that you mentioned that particular wool (brown dogwood small)---I just ordered Camille that same cover because we have a small basil tootsweet wool cover (small) that actually fits over her pf's quite well (as opposed to starting w/ a newborn.

So far her lone tootsweet is only a nighttime cover (works great!), but mama is certainly not up for taking pictures at that hour. If I remember I'll put it on her this evening (the basil one) and take a pic.

Order it mama---I love the one I have, especially the snap placement--my first side-snapping anything--it's a cinch for me to get on.

(btw don't have measurements on my girl, but she is about 7lbs 4oz and seems to have a high rise ...must also find measuring tape)

I don't have any pics at the moment and DS is asleep, but I really like my Tootsweet. I think it's similiar in feel the my Kiwi Pie cashmere. They are VERY stretchy as well. DS is 24 pounds and 31 inches and he wears a Toddler with room to spare. HTH!

hhmm. Maybe I should just wait until I can get a large. My little guy is 5 months and weighs about 14lbs (he's a skinny thing).
His measurements are:
Rise - 13"
Thigh - 8"
Waist - 15"

On the tootsweet site it says their smalls are
Rise - 13"
Thigh - 9" - 14"
Waist - 12" - 16"

What do you think?

here is my dd in her night sky cover. picture 1 picture 2 it is a large and fits perfectly on the second to largest setting. she is wearing it over a med celestial babies fitted.

this is our favorite wool cover! it is really trim and fits her like it was made custom. i ended up buying three more b/c it worked so well for us! i didn't want to end up short when tabitha closed up shop.

i definately suggest the large.

what are your DD's measurements? I wanted to get a tootsweet some day and tabitha kept telling me a large, but if the large fits your small looking DD then I dont think it would fit my DS.

Here's Camille in her brand new Toot Sweet brown dogwood wool cover (small) on the tightest snap setting....over a size 1 SP
As tiny as she is (7lb4oz --ish) I don't think she would have fit in a newborn for long...and we might just skip to a large and bypass the mediums.
