Thanks Mandy! I am assuming by your senior title that you are a Clemson grad? My blood runs Crimson (sorry<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/duck.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Duck">: ) and Bulldog Blue (my graduate degree came from The Citadel). One of my best friends is a Clemson grad though (class of '97).<br><br>
I hope that the MaMa down here in Beaufort sees this thread!

You're not really near me (unfortunately)! In fact, you would be several hours away! Beaufort is on the coast between Charleston and Savannah. Close to Hilton Head.

i'm on lady's island. the next LLL meeting is may 12th (i think, it's whatever the second saturday of the month is) and most of the crunchy mama's are there, lol! plus there's a yahoo group called carolina_crunchy_mamas or something to that end, and most of us are in beaufort.<br><br>
in the meantime, i'd be down with a trip to pigeon point playground (awesome toddler area), so pm me if you wanna do something like that.

We're getting the playground mulch blown-in next week for safety. Of course, there are always the other parks too. The new Waterfront Park is fabulous. My MIL had taken the kids there but I hadn't seen it until last weekend and I was fully impressed.<br><br>

I joined the Yahoo group a couple of weeks ago (when Boodafli first mentioned it) and posted an intro.<br><br>
We also like the Pigeon Point park. My neice had her b-day party there last fall (before we lived here) and we've been back a couple of times since andit is lovely. I don't know where the rec center is though.... Is that on Greene St.? We're at the corner of Burroughs and Depot downtown so a lot of stuff is reasonably close distance for us (the main reason we bought this house).

the new rec center is on burton wells road, which is close to laurel bay, so not as close for you (but no crazy traffic like downtown, lol)

I don't really know what to say, since this thread seems to have just dropped off. I assume, perhaps, that it's been moved to the Yahoo! groups? Maybe? Perhaps I'll try to join there.<br><br>
I really came here (this is my first day on this site) in search of VBAC information pertaining to Beaufort... or, more specifically HVBAC, which seems nearly impossible here, from what I gather.<br><br>
Anyway, I'm rambling, but I'm always looking for other kids for my son to hang out with; and having other (like minded) moms to hang out with doesn't hurt, either!<br><br>
Any more trips to the park planned?<br><br>
