My oldest daughter will be a kindergartener this fall and the magnet school I WANT her to go to is not in our district and we talked to the principal and there's really no chance she'll get in. Do any of you have ANY info at all about the elementary schools in district 622?

They include: http://www.isd622.org/list_of_our_schools.aspx

Thanks everyone!!!

I don't have that much recent info on these schools. I did, however, go to Eagle Point in the 80s/90s and my entire extended family graduated from this district. My mom also went to EP, starting the year it opened (back in the 60s). Most of the elementary school buildings are definitely from the early cold war era. Skyview is the newest, built in the 90s. It is a combination elem/middle school. My younger brother went there for a year or two... I remember it being nice and that they seemed to do a pretty good job keeping the two age groups separate. This was back in the 90s, of course. When I went to school, the district was considered a decent school district. I had a lot of gifted/talented opportunities, etc. When my brother was in high school, though, there was some talk of how the local schools were "going downhill." So none of this info is new, but thinking about it makes me a little nostalgic
