Just seeing if anyone lives there - had a dream my family moved there. Never been to Idaho, never even heard of Sandpoint but our family is planning a move in a few years so I'd thought I'd ask around about this weird dream!!!

If there is anyone there, how do you like it?

There are a few Sandpoint mamas around... Search this forum with the word Sandpoint and you might be able to find a few of them (I'm just remembering some threads from a while ago).

I do live about 45-60 minutes south of Sandpoint, and really love the area and people. And this is from a born Washingtonian who swore she'd never, ever move to Idaho.
But housing prices are just going nuts as of late, in Sandpoint and the CdA area, so you'd have to take that into consideration as well.

I'm a Sandpoint Mommy

I really enjoy living here, it's absolutely breathtaking as far as scenery goes, and most of the people are great too.

I know you posted this a while ago, but I thought I'd bump it up....feel free to ask me whatever, or PM me!

I live over the border in Montana, but my OB is in Sandpoint at Sandpoint Women's Health. Have any of you Sandpoint mamas had a hospital birth there or know good/bad stories from others who have?

I have done research on Idaho laws and refusing eye drops, vacs, etc. after the birth. Seems like all it takes is signing a waiver.

We don't have any midwives here and I live too far from a hospital to consider a homebirth, but would like to have as natural of a birth as possible.

I love Sandpoint, by the way!
