Anyone in the Berkshires?

Arghhh..that was suppossed to ask if there was anyone else in the Berkshire's? I'm in central Berkshire county ...

I wish I was!! We spent the last two summers at Jacob's Pillow living in a field of wildflowers. I miss it....

My husband was the Technical Director there for two summers. Our son, who was 4 and 5 at the time, just loves it. He was the only child to live on site and had a bunch of big playmates.

We're settled down from our wandering ways right now and I am hugely pregnant. My hubbie and son plan to visit for 4 days this summer, but I won't make it with the new baby.

I never met many mommas when we were there, but I didn't know about MDC at the time...

A good friend lives in Little Brown, which is behind Baba Yaga. Another friend lives in Fred's Cabin, which is on the service road behind Inside/Out.

LOL>..My MIL lived in Baba Yaga..LOL... it had no indoor plumbing back then..does it now? We love inside out.. they held it indoors last week because of the wind though.

Totally butting in here -- we just moved to Swampscott, MA from the Berkshires!! We lived in Dalton, and DH worked in Pittsfield. We probably know some of the same people.

I made some good friends while I was there, let me know if you need to be hooked up with anyone!! I even know another CDing mom if you're doing that!

Sorry it took so long to see this post , Im right by Great Barrington.

Hi - I'm living just over the border in Columbia County, NY, but do most of my shopping, etc. in the Berkshires (particularly central Berkshire county) because its so close. I have a 18 mo. old son and will be having my second in July. I'm always looking for like-minded parents to get together with for playgroup, friendship, whatever. Anyone having a play group in the area?

DH and I own a business in Lakeville, CT about 20 min. from Great Barrington. I'm there alot and performed at Jacobs Pillow pretty much every summer (unless I was on the road) for years! We are looking to move to Great Barrington in the next year or so. Good to see there are some mamas around!
