I thought it was stupid and useless, to put it mildly.
Why not involve your child in figuring out what appropriate solutions are, rather than inflicting random punishment? Now that WILL teach them something!

The first time I saw the ad, I thought it was a joke--sort of a spoof on parenting advice.

Anyway, it was basically a wheel, like a game spinner, which gave consequences to actions. Random, unconnected, illogical punishments. Very disturbing--moreso because it's advertised as a "game."

I don't think it looks too bad. From what I read of the 'site it's marketed towards older kids. Not to infants and toddlers who need things as consistant as possible.

I am all for consequences. And these are better than a spanking. But as a learning tool it seems useless.
A good logical consequence directly related to the situation, preferably negotiated directly with the child is going to give much more "bang for your buck" in my opinion.
