<p>Is this a live virus that can shed, and if so, for how long? My Mom just got this vaccine yesterday and we (her, I, and DS) were all supposed to get together tomorrow, but now I am wondering if this is a bad idea.</p>

<p>bump bump I am supposed to get together with my mom in a couple hours and I am stressing. Anyone know? I searched i last night here on MDC and found one person that said it would still need to be transmitted via mosquito even if the vaccine virus did shed?? I am confused.</p>

Yes, it is a live vaccine. No, it does not shed.
