I just gave birth to my last baby. I have a whole bunch of used maternity clothes, and as he grows, I will also have baby clothes, toys, etc. I would like to donate these items to a women's shelter. The only one I could find online sounds like they would prefer new clothing, etc. Does anyone know of one in my area? I am in Anne Arundel county.

Thanks.

My mom lives up that way and her church works with Sara's House http://www.catholiccharities-md.org/...rahshouse.html

I don't know if they take clothes or not but if they don't they can probably point you to somewhere that would.

I used to work for the Family Crisis Center. It's a shelter for mothers and children escaping domestic violence. We were always in need of clothes, toys, etc. especially ones in good condition!
Here's their website with info:
http://www.familycrisiscenter.net/website/contact.htm

You can ask the YWCA - I know they have an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence.
http://www.ywca.org/site/pp.asp?c=ktJ2JbMLIqE&b=887323

FYI: BIrthright is an anti-abortion/ pro-life group, in case it matters.
