I live about 20 miles north of Pittsburgh in a small town called Aliquippa and am looking for a ped or FP that is open to non vaxing. The peds we currently go to are over the top pro vax so much so that they have articles promoting vaccines in every room in their office. We are not vaxing ds and I do get the pressure when I go in. They even had me sign a release stating that I am not vaxxing and I am sure it is just to cover their behinds. Anyway, if anyone knows of any ped or FP's in my area that are open to non vax I would greatly appreciate their contact info.
Thanks!

I'm in the North Hills, and from what I found on the local board, Kovatch in Cranberry is supportive of delayed or no vax. We plan to go to him for our babe in May.

A thread on the local tribe board with more:

I have also heard that about Dr. Kovatch. I actually worked for Health
America when he did and he is a wonderful pediatrician. I just wanted to add that he is great and I think you will really like him.

I don't have any recomendations for you, but I have heard good things about Kovatch as well. I wanted to say "Hi", though as I live in Hopewell, and it's nice to know that there are other natural moms in the neighborhood. My 6 month old goes to the practice you currently use, and so far I haven't had any problems, although we are following Dr. Sears alternate vaccination schedule, so I'm not exactly in the same situation as you. I always request the same Doc, and he has been very supportive of my birth center birth, breastfeeding, delaying solids, etc... The nurses give me a hard time about the vaccinations sometimes, but I just nod and sign the release form. Good luck.

Hi there! Nice to meet you! I actually live in Hopewell also. Small world! Do you go to Tri State Peds, cuz I don't think I mentioned the name in my original post.... How ironic...LOL
We haven't had any real problems, just looks and tones from certain docs who think being hesitant about vax is just ludicrous. Oh well....
I did actually find the name of a naturopath in Beaver. Dr. Kuglics I believe her name is.
We live in Independence Square, you?
