We've tried to grow tomatoes in a couple of locations in Florida and both places had leaf miners (leaving little white trails on the leaf). Anyone know what to do for these, and are they harmful and what are they really? I've never seen a bug or something on the leaf, just the trail and sometime maybe a bump in the leaf? We'd like to try again, but the miners seem to affect other plants too. Want to get rid of them! Thanks!

Website I found on leaf miner's. It doesn't say they like tomatoes, but who knows. They are under Spinach Leaf Miner's. Says to plant Queen Anne's Lace, dill, and parsley to repell them. Could it be something else?

hmmm. the picture doesn't look like what I remember. We don't have plants now...haven't attempted yet again to grow anything . The leaves have a white trail running across them from something, maybe it's not leaf miners, that's the best we could find previously though. Thanks for looking...we'll keep trying to figure it out.
