It seems crazy, but I'm having a little trouble making doll diapers for my dd. Well, for her dolls, I mean.
I tried serging one and it was hard to work with something so small..I definitely want elastic so that they are somewhat adjustable to fit different sized dolls, but maybe that's not realistic. Any suggestions would be helpful!!
I made panties for DS's dolls and I used FOE. The 1/2" was great for tiny dolls and the 1" was pretty good for a bigger doll. I don't even think I stretched it much at all while sewing it on, just enough to sort of cup the legs in a bit. It was a good use of all those extra bits that are way too short to use on anything else
I think it would depend, but I've made some pretty small dipes in a faux serge with elastic(1/8") and velcro since little hands have a hard time with snaps. When I get a chance I'll see (can't remember if I took picts or not) if I have picts otherwise I'll sew one up really fast and post a pict.
yep. mine are just the fitted shape with a single thin layer of velcro across the top and velcro closures that can be placed anywhere on the dipe for a big or small baby. Both my girls have a whole set- very cute to see them play with them. I can email you a picture if you want.

I would just do a contour shape and put velcro so she can velcro them. They'll be so cheap to make too that you can make several to fit all the dolls instead of having to put elastic
