I'm about to join and really don't want to spend the money on a scale but more importanly I don't want a scale in the house. I'm afraid that me, DP and kids (when older) will start to obsesss.
Thoughts?
P.S. I go to Curves 3x/week so I can weigh myself there. I know I am not naked and the scale could be off, but.......

Can I do wihtout it?

i think that you can totally do ww without the scale. really what you are trying to do is eat less and eat healthy. you will know by how your clothes fit how you are doing. really the older i get the less about numbers on a scale it is for me. i have been feelling really great for 2 weeks now that i have done the ttapp bootcamp and my clothes are so much looser so i get on the scale
well it says i have gained weight. well i know it must be muscle but it made me feel bad none the less. so now i say no scale at all. i know that i am eating healthy and working out and i feel good so that is all that matters. well that and when i get to go buy a smaller pair of jeans

You can absolutely do WW without a scale! Everyone is right when they say you will feel the difference. We have a scale in our house, but rarely do I step on it. I mean, I would if I felt like I needed to, but the further along I go in WW, the less I feel like it's a big deal. Usually I just weigh in once a week at the meetings.
