With my 2mo DD well-established with her breastfeeding and growing like a weed, I have decided to start pumping milk for my 3 yo toddler too. She's been weaned since she was just over 2yo, but she seems to love the taste of the breastmilk still, chilled and served in a glass. Anyone else doing this? I think I will try to build up supply until I can serve my toddler several cups a day. It's got to be better for her than the cow's milk that she has been drinking!

I am bfing my 6 week old ds, and pumping for my 26 month old dd . I give her about 8 oz a day. She loves the stuff, and tantrums for the stuff. It must be pretty good! She never bf'd from the tap, I pumped for her for 18 months. She was never able to latch. I am glad to know I am not the only one doing this!!!

I am tandem nursing, but DD only nurses in the morning (sometimes) and at night (ALWAYS <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">). But I have offered her pumped milk in a cup but she refuses to drink it. She is wild about nursing but she won't touch pumped milk. Even freshly pumped. She says it's "too eeeewey". Weird.

Thinking about doing this. when I was away in another city, she got used to "cup mummums" and occaisionally asks for them from the fridge now that I am back home. I would also rather she drink homemade milk than storebought cows milk
