I'm trying to keep myself sane and not stressed out, but it's really hard to do after two miscarriages in one year.

I'm 10.5 weeks and started spotting last night...only evident when I wipe after urinating, and even then, not every time.

But still, there it is...darkish pink/mauve-y stains on the toilet paper...and it just scares me.

I know there is nothing that can be done this early in the pregnancy if I am going to miscarry...and I know that a lot of women have spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy.

I have an appointment tomorrow to see my doctor and get checked out, but I'm really hoping this spotting stops before then.

I'm sorry you're having such a scary time

I wish I could say something to make the waiting easier...I've done a lot of waiting this year and it's just plain hard.

Hang in there, mama.

I hope it's just 'normal' bleeding and that you get good news at your appt tomorrow.

I hope it stops soon and that all is well!

You said it - spotting can be very normal. But I know it's so hard not to worry.

I found this thread really helpful when I was spotting a few weeks ago:

http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=535798

Thank you everyone for your support.

So far, the spotting has stopped...no traces of pink at all. Even still, the doc wants me on bedrest for at least the next two weeks. Given my history of miscarriage, it seems a good idea to simply be still and let my body rest, so I have no problems complying with my doctor's orders.

Of course, I expect my house to fall to pieces in the next couple of weeks, LOL, but it's a small price to pay.
